Each Christmas season, volunteers make a difference by greeting donors at our Christmas Kettle locations. Every dollar collected supports local programs and services for those in need.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team!

We offer a variety of roles to match your interests and availability.

General roles

Greeters
Welcome visitors to our space and provide direction.
Points / weighing checkout
Counts and weighs products after they have been selected from the store.
Sorter
Responsible for weighing incoming products and then sorting products based on items and dates.
Clean-up / runner
Ensure food bank and work areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
Shelf stocker
Stocking shelves and checking all item expiration dates.  

Office roles

Cleaner
Dust, sweep, wash floors and windows in our office area.
Christmas kettle campaign
2 hour shift at a kettle in local stores during the Christmas months.
Christmas hamper program
Preparation, distribution and delivery drivers for Christmas hampers as well as set-up, distribution and take-down of toys during December.
